SF Prepares for Pride

It's the week before the big Pride weekend and already, SFPD prepares for the big crowds.
Crowd control barricades are ready to be deployed all along Market Street.

Anti Sleep at Powell Station

SFMTA has devised a way to keep people from sleeping on the Powell Station Benches.
In the early hours of the morning, I used to see people sleeping on them. Not anymore...

Fionna's Sweetshoppe

Fionna's Sweetshoppe is a tiny little candy store filled with delicious treats.
The selection is almost dizzying, but don't fret Fiona will guide you.
I'm a big fan of the strawberry and lemon bonbons. They're not too sweet and finish nice and chewy.

There's lots more to try.

Day of Accidents

1. J Church accidentally goes along Market Street.
2. Wheelchair with occupant lies in the middle of Market Street
3. Motorcycle with 2 riders have a mishap in front of Mitchell's Ice Cream. The motorcycle's passenger did have a helmet on, but was only wearing flip flops and a dress.

The event is SOLD OUT!

Bay Area Aggressive calling cards

The Bay Area Aggressive cards have spiraled in call quality & service.
The customer service is automated, the human response is simply scripted.

Calls are charged for every attempt, even if the line is busy.
When I do get through, frequently our conversation is hampered by poor audio quality.
I will no longer use these cards.
There has to be a better way… any suggestions?

The food here is very good Vietnamese.
