First of the Month

The first of month always reminds me of the Kruder & Dorfmeister mix of the Bone, Thugs & Harmony song. But instead of getting my hair braided, I'm getting a Fast Pass.
At $45.00 per month, it's probably one of the best deals in the City.
Two weeks ago, I remember Gavin Newsome proposing the idea of getting rid of fares on MUNI entirely. His claim that supporting the fare infrastructure is expensive to manage and police. Free fares will be a cheaper solution. Makes perfect sense to me.
